25PL HU Barrel off or give up?

200bb eff

Villain is on the tighter side of HU players. Stealing about 60%, playing about 40% of bb's.

Hero opens btn Q876r to .75 villain calls.

Flop 932r(1.50)

Villain leads 1.25, Hero raises to 4, Villain calls.

Tu 8o(9.5)

Villain checks hero bets 7.00 villain calls

River Jo(23.50)

Villain checks, Hero?

So on flop, I felt like he was most likely leading w/ marginal equity and since it's just so hard to flop very huge on 932r I decided to raise. My hand can improve decently on a number of turns and rivers, so it seemed like an OK candidate to bluff with. I did consider floating flop instead of raising, but I thought a lot of his range wouldn't be able to call down on a lot of run offs.

Turn seems pretty standard unless you guys think my 8 had enough SD value. I tend to just barrel with it, as I can get value from his 456 combos, as well as potentially fold out better either now or no rivers.

On river, I think he has very few QT/T7 combos, plus I'm blocking QT, while I feel like I can have a lot more. I'm basically targeting out folding 9's up or some mediocre pr combos(8654 or w/e). Downsides to a bet are all the low straight draw combos missed, and I'm not sure a lot of my good 9xxx rundowns raise the flop(should they be), so I'm not sure I'm repping many credible 2pr combos.

I like ur thoughts about flop and turn.

River very depends on ur history and opponent tendencies (have u 3barreled him with air/nuts before?/ Have u seen him herocalling before?/what kind of dynamic u wanna follow after this river decision? ... I just feel that checking behind is the best play here:
- Wont get enough folds...even knowing that ur villain is on the tighter side doesnt mean he wont resist the temptation of calling u down with 2pr, which I think he has alot here. (I mean his perceived range consists of hands like 456x - u most likely beat - and 9xxx).
- For info sake: see what hands he is capable of leading;
- Lower variance.

A lot of QT and T7 hands are very similar to your actual hand in terms of "bluffraising the flop"-capability and a hand like that is what you most likely have when you raise the flop. I think you should definately bluff the river unless you are certain that Villain is a calling station.

Offtopic: How much rake are you paying on 25 HU?

This was a 6m table that went HU. I'm not sure off the top of my head, but I know my WR is a ton higher when these games get 2-3 handed.

I like your thought process and if you decide on the flop that your going to raise, I think you need to follow trough turn and river as it runs out. I also think raising flop and barreling turn/river will work alot here, since hes most likely getting it in on the flop with twopairs/set/wraps and just calls with pairs and weak draws.

I could also see another possible line by just flatting flop and play turn/river in position and being able to control the size of the pot and bluff good turns/rivers. I think both are fine if you got a good thought process.
