2/4 HU Deep Line Check
Villain is a reg. He's opening ~70% of buttons and c-betting ~55% I think more on the linear side. This hand was near the end of a 10 hour session so the dynamic details are pretty blurry to me. I want to say he doubled through me a while ago and has been slowing bleeding his stack back to me. He's made a few incorrect call downs and seems like the type to over adjust/get frustrated by this.
Preflop: I decided to flat this hand given it's rainbow. I'd almost always 3b it, but we're a little deeper and it's nice to have a few of these in my flatting range.
Flop: I flop pretty huge and we had a fairly aggro x/r dynamic so it seemed like a good spot. When he 3bets, I don't think I have any option but to call? I feel like jamming is a really good way to get it in a lot of bb's on the low high 30's low 40's side but I could be wrong.
Turn: My plan was to x/jam that card with spr ~2. I think a lot of his turn betting range has decent equity vs my hand so getting folds from those is good. Thoughts on x/jam vs x/ca and taking a river?
River: I'm sort of lost on this river. On one hand, his value 3b range on the flop shouldn't contain many J7/J6 combos unless they had backup, and it seems fairly unlikely he'd opt to check back turn with hands like JT97. Additionally a lot of his queens up 2pr's bet turn, so it's tough for a bet to get value. Otoh, T98 and 985 missed, both of which are fairly frequent in my flop x/r, call 3b range, and I would certainly be wanting to bluff this river if I was near the bottom of my range and villain isn't repping a ton of strong hands. I think villain is hand reading so that makes me lean more towards betting here. Otoh, it's fairly likely his range contains a lot of wrap combos given he 3bet flop then took a free turn, so check/calling river could be better.
Thoughts on all streets appreciated.
