Hi,

I would like to know your opinion about the best play with this hand. vialin in a 30/20 very agressive player, that only play deep tables.

After 3bet my hand, i decided to ck this flop because 3way OOP and 216bbs deep i'm giving up a lot on this board, so i decided to balancemy play that by cking here.

How do you approach the hand, and whats your play on the turn.

Also, how often do u think he has the nut blocker compared to the nut flush?

thanks

I'd probably cbet this a lot to get some value but considering that you have the blocker to the Q-high flush I guess I can buy your check. I'd just keep calling, if I check this I need to have a c/c all the way range and against someone aggro I don't get why this hand wouldn't be perfect for that. I'd snap that thing. But then again, I'm from Sweden.

I agree.

It just feels so dumb and frustrated when you call off n he shows u the nut ball but I think calling off after this action is good for our range.

btw I'm Asian i hate folding

i think this hand is more about what kind of range you have after you check the flop. do you always cbet nut flush here. if you bet your nut flushes and airs and have non nut flushes/sets as your calling hands then I'm not sure if you can fold this hand at all.

After all this is the top of your range when you go 3bet, check call this flop. I'm not sure if I'm thinking correctly but if this is literally the best possible hand you can have here and he's an aggressive player I'd call off. also maybe a slim chance he's shoving worse for value?

(before joining this site I would probably have c/c and then c/f turn because I often feel that ppl don't bluff here as much as they should. but after joining the site I start to think about the distribution of my range and how that affects my overall frequencies)

Agreed. Not super excited about this, but I think we should call down. Not only to protect our range, but also because his large betsizing is a little suspicious to me (maybe a set makes sense?).

Awesome :)

Apparently I have flagged the above post as inappropriate lol...

I like you reasoning and def aggre with Majal about the Q blocker. Also, this is the type of flop people like to bet even with a semi bluff to overpairs like OE and wraps.

I would call here although not thrilled about it.

The other reason Id call is your read of him playing only deep tables. If he sees you as a player who does not play deep games regularly, I think it is another reason for a call. Deepstack regs love to put pressure on player whom they think are weaker playing deep games.

I think you need to consider what he thinks your range is and what your check on the flop means after 3 betting pre means.

I dont like spots where I have the K and Q of the suit. It obviously narrows down his hand here to a naked As, set, or J8ss, or bluff. I dont see him potting the turn with a set if he thinks you have a made hand. So that really polorizes his range on the turn (bc its eff all in). I think if he bets 1/2 pot, 1/2 pot this can be played differently but with all this info we gather in this hand history. I call and hope he thinks we are passive and 3 bet pre and are now afraid when he has the A blocker.
