Zoom hand: Villains an aggro reg. My plan was to raise the flop and put pressure on his over-pairs by barreling. I wasn't expecting him to re-raise and I thought we were too deep to shove. Thoughts on flop play please?

Spots like this come up where you end up looking/feeling very spewy, but it's honestly not bad.

Your decision to raise flop is definitely fine/good against most 3betting ranges. Like you said, I wouldn't expect to be 3bet often.

Once he 3bets flop, it really depends on your read of him and what he thinks of you. If he has a high enough bluff frequency here, you can go ahead and play it like you did.

Hey, so when he lobbed it back to $114 what was your thinking? cause by that stage surely its either nuts or air no? so why not just 5bet it to $240, $250 something like that and if he 6bet shoves fold and save your 75bb's, to me its hard for him to 6 bet bluff, and when he does half his air has you beat on the flop so...fold it and save your $$$

I think you get the same information calling his 4bet...he's not randomly jamming any turn with AKQJ or sth.
