Hey Guys,

I'm wondering about both Viktor's play and about my play.

I have a confession to make:  I don't consider myself a good Cap PLO player.

I haven't put in enough work for a game that's so math based.  So, I was hoping you could help me (and other forum members) how to analyze a situation like this... Both hand v hand and range v range.

It seems like the kind of thing that wouldn't be too hard, but I've never dealt with it.

So, let's give Viktor a 20% 3bet range (high card heavy, but with lots of ds stuff too) in this spot.  Let's give me a range of 65% minus AA, KK, QQds, ABBB, and a few other good hands sprinkled in.

I see a lot of players make shoves similar to Viktor's here.  It looks bad at first glance, but I suspect it shows more of a profit than open mucking.  Still, seems like we could do better with a small bet range or a check range that isn't always folding?

I'm not sure how complex we can get with the analysis, but any progress towards helping my grasp of breaking down simple(ish) situations like this would be awesome.

Thanks in advance.

Phil
