2-4 PLO Bovada

This is sort of a pet play of mine that's made sense to me over the years but I think is non standard and I worry that it might be problematic:

First hand in the BB at a 2-4plo game on bovada, I have 100bb everyone else has 100-120

UTG limps, UTG1 pots to 18, BT calls, SB calls, I pot to 94 in the BB w/ Td7d6c3h

My thinking is that I rep aces very well, I have a chance of picking up the whole pot pre flop, and if I get repotted by someone and have to get it in it's not that expensive, the dead money helps cushion the blow a little bit. It also is good for my image, although I'm aware that's a small factor.

utg1 called and the field folded, flop was AcKh5d I bet 74 into 225 he folds

Early on in a 2-4 6 max game, Th8s6h4c, BT opens to 3x I defend the BB, flop comes Qd8h5s, I check, he bets $20 into $26, is check folding acceptable?

My feeling is that this is a decent spot to check raise as I seem to be slightly too weak to call, but I did'nt want to do it against an unknown in this situation because I was concerned of running into a player with a low cbet % for this sizing. Had I known he was a high c bet kind of player, I would have check raised but instead I folded. How are my thoughts here?

I am also looking for someone to talk PLO hands and concepts with over skype, if anyone is interested please send me a PM.
