I flat on the flop in this spot. Hands i fold by jamming, i got equity on, such as sucker wraps weak flush draw. I also don't think jamming will fold ace high flush draws. Possibly i can make sets of 3s fold but i expect to be called by ttxx and qqxx, both of which im not pushing much equity on and losing if they got strait blockers.
If we get raised from behind we can just commit. On blank non pairing turns we can still commit with enough combined fold eq and outs, if we hit straitening cards or flushes we can just gii happily imo for value.
both options should be plus ev with dead money in the middle with our combo draw, but i think flatting nets more.
Would like to know what others think.
I think I would gii on this flop purely for the reason IF the board pairs/bricks you wont get value from any worse draws. If the flush comes should we then fold? Live people people usually dont fold but if somebody has a pure fd there is a small chance they will fold A
high and some 2-pair combo.
Another reason for potting is that 60 into 100 bet does not cry off very strong range. In my games most people just pot with their good hands so I would most likely gii here hoping nobody has the nut flush draw.
BUT IF the players you are facing NEVER folds any combos off A high FD's or 2 pairs gii here is not that great off an option and simply calling is better.as privues comment suggested. The thing is by calling you dont get value from worse draws if board bricks. Second people might get scared with a open+low flush and x/c x/f even on the turn if you bet.
I'd say ch/r, but you do want to keep players in with worse hands/draws...aka don't pot it. You could also just donk bet flop. Either way, you (probably) take control of the betting and can set your own pricing by choosing bet size.
