1/2 (semi)interesting turn spot along some general theory.

BB: $442.97
CO: $287.57
BN: $200 (Hero)
SB: $532.80
Preflop ($3.00) (4 Players)
Hero was dealt T J 8 T
CO folds, Hero raises to $5, SB calls $4, BB folds
Flop ($12.00) Q Q 4 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $7, SB raises to $23, Hero calls $16
Turn ($58.00) Q Q 4 6 (2 Players)
SB checks
Versus pretty agressive reg, with a wide preflop range and a high preflop 3bet %.
Once i had cbet flop and got raised, his range in my opinion is pretty wide, value range of Qx, semibluffing range of flushdraws (mostly better than mine but some worse) and pure bluffing range. Given that I am IP i think having wide calling range can be beneficial (with some reraising frequency along) because I can take advantage of position on two later streets.
When the flushcard hits turn, his range is: Qx (mostly bare, with a few boats), flush (K/Ahigh, with some

Given his flop action, I would exclude boats 44xx, Q4xx, from his range. I am not assuming villain will take this line with the K high flush draw, there is high probability that HERO has the nut FD and villain is building a pot, whereby villain is dominated. Maybe my assumption is wrong??

- Range villain, Qx, nut FD
- Airballs, with equity (broadways with backdoorstraightdraws)

Turn
I like a bet in this spot, protection/value bet from Qx. I am not afraid of getting check-raised in this spot.

River
I like to valuebet the river on 6, 4, T, and J, because of the blocker HERO has. Basically all rivers smaller than the 9, because I am assuming villain's openingrange from the SB consists of Q with high cards. SB ranges are
generally tighter.

The only hand i am bit afraid of is AhQxhx, to get most value out of bluffs/worse.

Given his flop play villain might put HERO on a airball, since HERO could have floated the flop and try to bluff turn/river.

@ junzhong loo, "Versus pretty agressive reg" described by the poster of this hand, I think that most aggressive players will cbet 44xx, Q4xx because of standard adjusments vs aggressive regulars is too bluff-raise or float in this spot. Given his flop action i am likely to discount 44xx,Q4xx I should have formulated better than exclude those hands.
When I have seen regulars take creative value-lines I will add these type of hands into their range, if haven't seen them take creative value lines. I think I can discount these hands from his range.

I agree for the most part. I like a turn bet, as it takes away his opportunity to play well against your range on the river (fundamental theorem of poker).

I probably would check back river unless I boated up though. The chance of him x/r'ing or x/c'ing a better flush for me outweighs the times he calls with just Qxxx. Unless you have a very bluffs history, I expect most opponents to find a fold (or x/r bluff) with a bare queen on the river here.

sorry if this is dumb as i am relatively new to plo but we are bet-folding turn right and its ok since our range will include enough hands that we are bet-calling plenty and dont have to be concerned ?

I´m checking the flop against most people. Maybe bet-3bet against some really spewy ones if I think it can induces enough 4b bluffs.
As played I´d probably check the turn and try to make a read on the river if he bets and otherwise check it back.

Phil, why can he play the river better than us oop when our range is a lot of Qxxx/flush here?
