No reads on player, but seems taggish. Stats are 27/16 after 37 hands with 7 aggression factor. Doesn't really say much.
But here's what I thought. Please tell me if I thought correctly in this hand.
On the flop: We have a wrap and we have equity, so c/c is in order.
On the turn: We hit our straight, and villain bets strong repping the flush. He could or could not have it here and we could bluff catch with our straight. So we c/c again.
On the river: Villain shoves the rest. If he had the flush, shouldn't he be worried that we have a boat? Does he have the As blocker and is using that to bluff? And if he has a set on the flop, shouldn't he be checking back on the turn, concerned that we have a straight?
My gut says we call this river, but I was wondering if I was thinking correctly during the hand in the first place.

well... people at plo10 are pretty crazy so I fold the River because he could valuebet a flush like that.
basically he could think that you raise a set on the flop and you are unlikely to have 99.
He could also bet so big to look polar although he isnt.
fold!
Pre flop FOLD.....
Donking flop seems more attractive than ch/calling since we are sandwiched having worst relative position. As played without some reads about villain's tendencies I would fold OTT. Guessing games over 2 streets oop usually don't work out well. However I agree with your reasoning OTR. Villain's bet sizings don't add up (unless she has 88+NFD).
Better lead or x/fold the flop. You dont get blown of much EQ when raised, yet still get many better hands to fold. Turn is a fold for me, no need to invest more money if I ahve a hard time calling the river anyways.
