10PLO: Are we ever folding top set on the turn here?

Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players

CO: $11.50 (115 bb)

Hero (BTN): $11.72 (117.2 bb)

SB: $10 (100 bb)

BB: $11.92 (119.2 bb)

UTG: $11.33 (113.3 bb)

MP: $10.40 (104 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A J T T

2 folds, CO raises to $0.35, Hero calls $0.35, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.85) 3 T 8 (2 players)

CO bets $0.40, Hero raises to $1.80, CO calls $1.40

Turn: ($4.45) 7 (2 players)

CO checks, Hero bets $2.40, CO raises to $9.35 and is all-in, Hero ???

Villain is your standard 10PLO player on Stars. But I have no history with him yet.

Should we have bet bigger and call it off on the turn? When the straight completed, I felt checking back here but that felt wrong and that he could also have an FD here and I didn't want to give a free card. So I decided to bet smallish. When he c/r shoved I don't know if villain did that because he thinks we're weak or if he has the nuts.

Also, if he had a combo draw, I think we would have gotten it in on the flop. So I think 88** is also in his range here and is waiting for a safe none flush turn to get it in. Dunno. I'm really confused here.

I would 3bet pre on the button with this hand. I like the raise on the flop but think we have to sigh fold the turn they just always have it at these stakes. I don't think 88xx is in his range as i think all the money would have gone in on the flop. This is a massive leak I currently have I'm my game at these stakes not folding when I know they always have it. No one is bluffing at these stakes you will loose more money bluff catching than you will folding in these spots.

x/back turn to evaluate river. Calling a raise all wraps get there on the 7. 79TJ type hands for example which is a standard open in the cut off. A straight will be raising to get it in vs set and a FD or 2p and a FD. Fold as played. This is the worse card in the deck for you when villain calls. x/back.

Three-betting this vs a loose opener is fine (I still prefer a flat)
If you three-bet a nit with this it is just going to play poorly as they have higher pairs in their range than yourself so the reverse implied of set over set come in to play.

Preflop
I would 3bet that hand because it's pretty strong and you have position. Depending on your style of play, calling isn't bad either.

On flop
I like it how it played. I would have raised as-well. Raising protects your hand from flush draw and straight draws and you build a pot with top set.

By calling, villain, can now be put on a range of hands. He called your pot bet so that means he has a strong drawing hands or he just wants to bluff you on scare card.

What would he call your bet with?
- 88xx, perhaps even 33xx
- flush draw +- straight draw
I don't think he would call you with two pair or worse

On turn
Here it gets ugly. 7d completes the straight.

He check raises you. If you think:
- he is the kind of player who would bluff on a scare card
- a player that will play 88xx that way
then a call is fine.

Otherwise, if he is a passive player, I would just fold.
