10 PLO - Turn decision.

BN: Player1: $10
SB: Hero: $11.37
BB: Player3: $11.62
UTG: Player4: $9.20
HJ: Player5: $10.61
CO: Player6: $8.30
BTN plays 19/13/7 over 786 hands. BTN steal 29%. Seems to play straightforward in 3bet pots, with Fold to CBet 64% (11).

While in game, I was lost on the turn. So, I would like to hear some thoughts for optimal turn play. Subsequently, what do we do on different rivers?
Thanks
Preflop ($0.15) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A 7 Q T
Player4 folds, Player5 folds, Player6 folds, Player1 raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.95, Player3 folds, Player1 calls $0.70
Flop ($2.10) J 5 2 (2 Players)
Hero bets $1.40, Player1 calls $1.40
Turn ($4.90) Q (2 Players)

I think checking here is an optimal play since Q of diamonds give a you a ton of showdown value and also gives you the advantage of pot control OOP. A check call also helps you balance your checking range as it helps you to see many rivers with a controlled pot. There's really no reason to bet the turn yourself as there are no worse hands that would continue to your turn bet so just allow them to bluff and see a river to assess further. Correct me if I am wrong.

Would middle pair or pp w straight draw or bdfd not continue?

Is it not worth protecting against a hand like 8765 that has ~20% equity and will never pay off river?

Not a fan of 3betting this preflop this is a 14% hand, and more over we will have to play post flop OOP.
Not happy x/c at these stakes, since i assume population is going to be very face up , so we are going to be way behind when he bets. I can opt to bet fold myself here, since i block KT,9T,QQ
eliminating JJ,55,22 to an extent from his range since he called flop and didnt raise.

Two important questions to consider
1, Do you think this is a good flop for your range?
2. How frequently does opponent have two pair or nut draws?

Please let me know your thoughts as I think this is good starting point for discussion

I agree with your turn summation. By having a Q we block his turned two pair and our range is still full of strong hands vs his flop calling range so we need bluffs to go along with our strong hands, this is a perfect hand to use a bluff and it still has equity against his 2pair+ when called.
My line on this flop if I had chosen to bet and stacks were approx 100bbs would be to bet pot on the flop because of our overall range adv and the fact that 2pair+ is infrequent in our opponents range, and once called on this specific turn I would pot again given the above reasons which would put us all in or close to all in.
I would love to hear what you guys think of this and if you would approach differently?

3-bet pre is good in this high rake environment. These disconnected, rainbow flops are quite good for your range here and the preferred sizing is pot by alot. Your hand should mostly check, but sometimes pot. Your hand with two backdoor flushdraws mostly pots. After potting flop, you should then pot turn and stack off. As played, you can still pot-call turn, but checking also seems fine.

I'd fold preflop against this opponent. Sure, they're on the BTN and this hand is fine to 3-bet v. a typical BTN range, but 19/13 over 786 hands is a pretty good sample telling us that this player is raising more of a CO range here (29%). Their range is much more important than their position here.
Having said that, the fact that they play straightforward postflop in 3-bet pots is nice. I don't know what solvers do here (I think others have commented on that already anyway), but without a lot of draws on this flop, I imagine a player like this folds here a lot.
I'm as lost as OP on this turn. With top pair and a gutter and an opponent who might find a fold with KK, I can see just potting it to be mostly all in. Gonna have some awkward river situations, though, with like a 1:6 SPR. Can't see folding a lot there.

Pre - I am leanings towards a fold. You still have the BB left to act and the button seems tight.
Flop - Check/fold
Turn - Check calling
