Hi,

I can't stop telling myself I played this hand badly. PF action is ok I think. On the Flop, I think it's ok, giving the 2 players behind, I would call/fold...

The problem is on the turn and river, do you think is better to shove here when he checked? I find my bet so weak here......
And on the river, do you barrel even if we missed... can we get all his 7x hands to fold, his Ax hands and all the flush draw and the straight draw to fold here?

Thx for your help!

fold preflop or shove IMO. flatting here isn't doing much good. the pot is bound to go 3 way minimum and in this case 5 way.

89hh is actually a hand that performs quite a bit better at larger stack depths. suited connectors go up in value as stacks get deeper and aa goes down in value as stacks get deeper and vice versa, aa goes up in value the shallower stacks get and 89ss goes down in value the shorter stacks get.

there are also three guys behind you who could raise preflop. if we were to limp this hand over a huge sample, exact same scenario, I'm quite sure the limp is a losing one, even if it's like 1/10th of a big blind, but pry a little more if I had to guess, whereas folding is breaking even.
