Crypto Poker
Posted by JMMaga
Hey guys!
Seems a trend these days that crypto currency poker sites are poping up from every corner.
I'm a bit ignorant in this hole new crypto currency thing. Can anyone tell me if these site are legal? Can we play in it from every country? Even the ones with a segregated player poll? How can we start to change normal money to crypto currency? I don't know if it's in the plans of some coach to do a video on this but for sure it would be interesting!
Forgive me the ignorance :)
Thanks in advance

It's a interesting situation, it really depends on the country/state/laws about online gambling, the form of payment does not matter for the legality afaik. This is ofcourse something different from real world practicality, just know you run a risk while gambling online when its not strictly legal, the amount of risk varies per country.
Even Phil Ivey now signed with Virtue Poker, interesting to see what happens with them. There your money should not be on the line in any case, like on a normal site the money is with them, with virtue the money stay's in your 'pocket' afaik, maybe this is the case with most crypto sites not sure.
As for converting other currency in crypto there are many services for this, cannot recommend a specific one but they are easy to find on google. Doug Polk's site on crypto might be of help to you: coincentral.com
Thanks a lot! Will take a look ;)
