I'm in the SB and checked to villain who was in the HJ. I intended to x/r, but he checked behind. A player told the dealer I checked the nuts, so he called the tourney director over. The director told me I cannot check the nuts and gave me a warning. I told him that I didn't have position in the hand, and was therefore allowed to check the nuts with the intent to x/r. He said no, and he gave me a warning. I'm just double-checking, because I'm fairly certain that I am correct. But if not, whatevs.

To make it clear: One can check the nuts OOP in a live tourney. Correct?
