Calling range vs Loose passive villain with tight range from blinds?
Hero has seen villain limp AQo preflop and show down. Villain open raises MP to 3bb. Villains raising range should be AK+, TT+ (maybe tighter). Villain appears to be passive. Villain probably would probably be bad at fold an overpaid post flop.
1) Folds to Hero in the SB. What hands should Hero flat with?
2) Folds to Hero on the btn. What hands should Hero flat with?
Is Hero's flatting range vs this villain the widest from the Btn, SB, or BB? If villain is stacking off light on the flop to your flopped 2 pair or trips, then the better price in the blinds seems favorable. But if Hero flops a flush draw IP, then villain doesn't get a chance to check back the turn if the flush hits and may be uncomfortable and barrel off. The fact that villain probably has a very tight raising range makes Hero want to continue pretty tightly. The fact that Hero has good implied odds on making a hand that can crack Aces makes Hero want to play very loosely.
Taking a shot at Hero's btn flatting range:
AK, AQ, A2s+, K2s+, 22+, 54s+, 1 gappers 35s+, 2 gappers 36s+
