50€ MTT Hyper turbo live
Hi guys,
Im new here, im going to try to make myself understandable.
I started the hand with 5500.
Blinds were 75/150 an old guy limps in Mp1 150, it is folded to me on the HJ, i make 600 with AQ off, its folded to the BB that raises to 1575.
The BB is a young guy that seems to know what he is doing, it already splashed around in some pots, 3betting and 4betting,and ive seen him folding before a 3bet to a cold 4bet.
I got the feeling that he was more on the strong side than on the light side, still i think he is capable of 4betting light with some hands such as ATo, AJo, KQo.
What should i do in this spot?Fold, call or just jam the remaining 32,5 BBs that i have behind?

Hi. I think that you have to get in mind the situation of the tournament. It's hyper turbo, so I think that blinds could increase every 10/15 minutes? Depends too, the remaining players, as how the blind level was I think that could be a 3rd level? In that situation I think that about your remaining stack the push could not be too bad. AQ off with your stack if could be a good spot. If you succeed then with more stack you can get more fold equity in advanced levels and in the bubble you can make some pressure.
Otherwise, many players used the firstly levels to increase stacks by many 3 or 4 bets just with positions or defending blinds, depending the opponent.
I think that the call shouldn't be an option. Just push or fold and wait for another good spot.
Rgds!
The key is, what does he think of you? If he thinks you are picking on the limper, then AQ is too good to fold and I'd shove or call.
Hi, thank you for the posts, the blinds increase every 20 minutes, there is no history between us, the antes didnt kicked in, what i realized is that he was very focused staring at me, at the time i was not sure if that was a tell more on the strong or the light side but i guess it tends to be more on the strong side? The guy that limped was middle aged man that doesnt have a clue of what he s doing...I think shove and folding is better than calling because many times if i dont connect i will be outplayed by the light part of his range like ATo, AJo, KQo and stay with 26 bbs behind...I think he can have a 3bet range like 88+, ATo+, AQs+, KQo i think the shove is correct?Im assuming he is calling with AT suited and AJ suited and KQ suited on the BB to see a flop...
