4/8 2-7TD (8game) Break or freeze with 25678?
I guess we have several options here, we can call or raise and then we can break or pat. If we raise it is possible but unlikely that we can get a better hand to break, but at least if he three bets we can then just call and throw the 8 and draw to a 7.
We could also call and then freeze by patting behind as we assume he will pat third. Then I guess we can fold if he bets river?

If he 3 bets then I think you have to break against an opponent you don't know. If you do hit you'll win at least extra bet post 3rd draw..and if you totally whiff you can fold...
Don't claim to be a TD expert but I do know enough to know I know nothing!!
Btw this is a reg, although he is more on a PLO side rather than limit. But he has all kinds of bluffs and thin value for sure.
without history, i think its a clear freeze and call the end. i think that decent 9s are a value bet in his position although not everyone will + hes a random and might just bet for the sake of not wanting to face a bet.
a more interesting question is whats the worst hand you raise for value here. i think ppl are reluctant to break in this spot, especially the first time this spot occurs.
