Villain in this hand is an excellent NL200 reg grinding his SNE. We were buddies in the study group and in the past had amazing levelling battles at ZOOM NL200 and ZOOM NL500. This year I have not been playing often in the same games, so that is pretty much a distant history. To some it up, he made some very big folds against me in the past and I shared with him info that I was on a bluff. He then strategically adjusted to bluff-catching more against me. He's not giving much credit to my check raises and overbets. I do have a lot of respect for his game and I think he's on par with best Zoom 500 regs.

Just a minute before this hands, I called from UTG vs his CO 3b, check raised wet low rags board, and he tank folded. He also folded a few small pots against my preflop and flop aggression, and I definitely feel he wants to fight back. I decided to c/r flop, thinking that this time he will not give me credit and fight back. Villain tanked for a very long time, maybe like 40 seconds, before min-reraising. Here I made a HUGE mental mistake - I instantly shipped and he snap folded.

The question I keep asking myself - I just don't know how to extract value here. I'm pretty sure villain is on a pure bluff. I understand board connects well with my defending range. He should not be re-raising anything, particularly with this sizing. He's just trying to fold my air. I thought that if I just flat, I would look too strong, I was also slightly worried about losing action on 4-straight turns (which is not consistent with me putting him on pure bluff, so I had a contradiction in my thought process there).

I think my best response would be to also time bank like 30 seconds and click it back. Villain is a very intelligent and also courageous player, so sometimes he would respond by either pushing of floating. What do you guys think? Anyone wants to flat the reraise?

If I was bluffing the flop, what would be my best response to his re-raise? Would it be ok to bluff shove, and is this once-in a lifetime spot where balance does not matter at all?
