I figured our range connects better with this board and even though he will also have sets here, they should form a larger % of our range. I would assume that my population AK overcbets in 3bet pots and we block AA and QQ. Maybe stuff like KQcc is a better candidate, because it can turn gutshots?
Or shoudl I just fold flop and get on with my life, because there is no need at NL10 for these plays?

I would say that population at NL10 doesn't 3 bet enough. So I would give some respect to this range until we can get more stats from the Villain, so far no 3 bets but it's only been 13 hands.
Vs this size 3 bet i think i'm only proceeding through a 4 bet/fold with your exact hand.
The way the hand was played, I don't see how you can re raise flop. You block the main hand you're trying to make fold, over pairs are never folding and there's draws to continue for the possible bluffs he may or may not have.
Yes fancy play for me, I don't like the flop raise, we can construct a raising range without this hand (it is a middling hand). We can raise with some combination of some FDs, sets, JTs and 98 if he want a raising range (we definitely shouldn't be calling all those hands 100% preflop though, depends how you construct your 3b call range). I am flatting flop with my strongest diamond draws.
You could call flop with this hand as it covers you on some runouts, I don't mind just folding it either, as you will avoid difficult decisions later (eg if A or Q comes and he keeps betting big, or he bets big on a club turn)
What's the goal of raising this hand? Bluff? Is better folding?
Value? Is worse calling?
You can clearly see why it's such a weird decision to raise this hand on this flop if you ask yourself these two simple questions.
