hey guys,
villain is a unknown 3/4-tabler, playing 14/11/7 over 36 hands.
how outrageous is it to bet turn here?
i don't like it anymore, but how bad is it?
my thoughts ingame were to fold out his AQ, AJ, QJ, QT type of hands and that he rarely checks Kx here.
now i realise that that is not really a good assumption, plus he might have better pairs.
on the flop we only defend something like 55+, so now i don't think that we need to be 77 here

Actually, on the flop I believe 22-77 without a club are folds vs 50% pot bet, so I'd just fold it there. 88 is a bit better so you can peel even without a club. It's a good board for BB and the pool usually 3-bets tight and linear.
As played betting on the turn is fine from a theoretical standpoint with all your pocket pairs o a mixed frequency, specially 77-88, and I'd bet every pocket pair if Villian overfolds, and that will happen if he check-folds AT-AQ on a high frequency, along with his AXs, QJs,JTs,QTs (he should fold his flush draws). Not sure, but betting can't be bad here with 77 if we assume that the pool overfolds vs a turn float bet.
What do you think about not having a club blocker making the FD semi bluff more probable.
I don't mind the bet. You can have quite a few K's here so getting folds from JJ and TT seems reasonable. He is also going to have some high equity overcards that were drawing to a flush/straight that you certainly want to charge to see a river in this spot.
I think we should just check this. If you do want to bet, betting smaller here is preferable because we can still get some value from overcards. Your sizing folds out everything that you beat, which is not typically what you want to achieve, even when betting for protection.
