opp 18/14 weak reg or rec. 600hands. rfi 13% from EP fold vs 3bet ~ 13% fold vs cbet close to 50%, wtsd 33 wwsf 52. Doesn't seems aggro and donks very little.

He seemed like a weak player so I used that combo as 3bet sometimes. Flop cbet because he doesn't x/R enough, turn reggish cbet

Given we don't have a heart in our hand, I don't think I could get away. I like a bigger turn bet though, to make stack sizes less awkward on the river.

Jeff_ 6 years, 4 months ago

idea behind that size that we don't have many 4x in our range and can be valubetting some overpairs along side draws Truth is that IP not suppose to be betting 54,64 on the flop that much and 44 isn't in 3 betting range either. But still I prefer size up and probably go more polar

Pretty much agree buy maybe because pot is not that big we still betting relatively freq into strong range

Isn't this a situation where you can calculate a defensive strategy? He bets around 1.5 times the pot (75 into 50), so his bluffs are break even if you bluffcatch 40% of the time.

Jeff_ 6 years, 4 months ago

Don't think so. Maybe because some of his bluff already have pot share and not 0 EV. As well this river is slightly better for his range so I don't need to be defending accordingly to make his bluffs indifferent

Given your reads and his stats I'd fold because it's usually just value hands. The mindset of many of these tighter more passive players seems to be to avoid paying off when they have marginal hands and try to get max value from their good ones.

Im not a big fan of the 3bet, even if he’s assumed weak, he open 13% so youre Pretty much 3betting 46s into a wall, he will easily be able to defend by call or 4b and you also got 3 ppl behind that Will cold 4b. But okey it’s not terrible i guess. River just overfold against player type

It's better to 3B suited connectors without gap. 46s seems to loose IMO.
As played, i fold OTR according to villain stats.

Jeff_ interested to why you would 3b suited one gappers or suited connectors against a 13% LJ fish whose calling a large %?

I'm going back and forth on this hand, i can see a weaker player calling most of his range
on the T including showing up with 77 (Less often),88, 99, 9Ts, small % of AA. i can't see any draws donk jamming as they'd probably bet smaller. Probably calling due to the fish spew factor in game, but i'd hope i'd fold

good to 3bet a lot of hands, I would flat some SC at some frequency and 64s I pretty much never flat so decent candidate to 3bet and it is not like villain going crazy postflop (by looking his stats) so I can safely isolate and play postflop where I suppose to have an edge
