Why is A73 a high frequency check (EP vs. BU)

Hi guys. I was wondering why this is a high frequency checking spot? We open EP and BU calls.

Just trying to figure out the logic behind this.

Thanks

Firstly we are OOP, so we don't get to bet much anyway. Secondly BU has a condensed range here and doesn't have a lot of folds on the flop. We open 16% and BTN flats maybe 5%? BU still has a lot of Ax, all the sets and some two pair so the equity split on this board is pretty even.

Ah that makes sense, thank you for explaining. So slight nut advantage / having more aces shouldn't drive our decision to bet here? I guess we don't have enough better sets. I need to stop thinking about these spots in such a tunnel vision way :)

We do have AA but we don't have 33 so our nut advantage is pretty marginal and our range is much wider than the BU flat so we just have a lot more junk in our range and we are OOP.

A very small portion of your RFI EP range has an A in it. You will find the same high freq check on this board even on BTN vs BB SPR pots.
