I've been watching quite a bit of heads up poker recently. Good players like Doug Polk etc. Now I'm a 6-max guy, never played much HU. First thing I noticed is the difference in hands a HU player will call when facing a 3bet. I knew it would be wider but I wasn't expecting to see them call hands like k4s q4s etc. Why are they calling these hands?? I thought those types of hands were trash and would have a tonne of trouble against the opponent with high kickers.
