What to study and from which pro?

Hi, I am mid stakes player from India with basic to mid understanding of solvers that I work with while studying in my routine. Just got RIO elite but I am confused and overwhelmed with the content on where to start with it?. Can someone please help/advice/suggest on how to go about it?

RunItOnce has a lot of content available. Because of this it tends to be best to find a topic you want to learn about and find videos about that.

If you just want to find good coaches, I always liked Xing Yang and Saulo Riberio. Tyler forrester has great content as well.

I jump between essential and elite..there is excellent content on both.

But I've noticed that when I go on elite for 2 or 3 months, I do make some jumps and improvements in my play that I don't see from other studying.

I just recommend filtering recent videos based on the game you play, and then going slowly, taking notes, and really trying to understand every little concept before moving on. I think its about 2 hours for me to go through a 30 minutes video. Then use that as a branching off point to do some of your own studying. You are basically creating your own master course that way. You'll never watch every video so try for quality and depth of your study over quantity.

The comments in elite are very good too, you can learn from them as well.

Here's a couple of other tips to find good videos:

Filter for most popular.

Watch the very first video of each coach, because they are more apt to explain things the best right from the start of their tenure.

Good luck!

I think the best strategy is to watch a few live plays and some GTO solver videos.
Take notes when watching, of everything you find interesting or leads you to more and more questions. (you can get to sort of the same conclusions by tagging questionable spots and also analyzing your play)

Based on those notes you can create a plan for yourself. What spots to work on first. Then you can search for that type of content and practice it, progressing through your plan. (which will inevitably keep changing as you build and progress)

Hello, I will share you my process of learning with the Essential plan. Basically, I picked topics that I wanted to work on (for me it was mainly general strategies in particular situations such as stabbing the turn oop vs x in srps, oop strategies in 3b pots etc. and exploits). So I pick the filter "theory" for example for each coach that tend to do the type of content I wanted to watch. The very important thing is to know what you want to work on, what are the aspects of your game that you want to improve the most. Then you can try to look for which coach is suitable for this kind of content et with the filters start to pick videos and add it in your watching list. You can also look for key words with CTRL+F and pick the videos that look interesting for you.

But again, the most important is to target precisely what aspects of your game you want to improve. This way, your work will be more optimal.

there are tons of good, winning players out there who gamble for a living including me.
i am talking live here since i only play live.
my suggestion is try to find someone close to you, perhaps frequenting the tables you play live. online... don't know... not my cup of tea...

however... if you want to try check out Andreas Fröhli or JNandez.
both from switzerland. they seem to not doing too bad in PLO
