What to make of this donk overbet?

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (6 Players) BN: $19.12
SB: $10.36
BB: $90.95
UTG: $23.10
MP: $16.89
CO: $12.66 (Hero)
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is CO with Q J
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.25, 2 folds, BB calls $0.15
45 hands on villain, who is 31/22, AF 1.3. Also can't help but notice how deep villain's stack is (900BB), showing he is a winning player
Flop ($0.61) 6 J Q
BB bets $1.30, Hero calls $1.30
When villain donks for 2x pot, I do not know what to make of it. I am thinking 66, or possibly a spade draw. I don't think I can fold
Turn ($3.21) 6 J Q 4
BB bets $3.00, Hero calls $3.00
Still proceeding with caution, ready to lay it down OTR on some runouts
River ($9.21) 6 J Q 4 7
BB bets $8.80, Hero folds
When the spade hits on the river, I dont think i am beating anything. Just cannot see any bluffs in his range
Final Pot BB wins $8.80
Rake is $0.41

Very confusing hand with villain's donk for 2xpot. Given how deeply stacked he is (900BB) he is obviously getting big value which makes me think the donk is just a pure value play setting up for a river shove. My initial thought was 66, but would he shove river when the flush hits?

If the flush doesn't hit, do i just have to call it off?
