What to do in a spot like this?
Playing 0.05/0.10 NLHE 6-MAX
UTG+1 raises 0.30 pre with a stack of 10.84$
I call in the small blind with QhJs and a stack of 43.01$
Flop comes JhJdKh
Villain bets 0.23
I raise to 0.77
Villain calls
Turn comes [JhJdKh] (10s)
Villain bets 1.46
I call
River comes [JhJdKh] (10s) (4c)
Villain bets 3.99
I call
Villain shows KJc and takes down the pot with the full boat.
I had sort of a read on him that he was strong, but I felt like, if he has it then he has it.
Do I just get it in here OTR hating my life, or was I right to not raise him for his last chips here?

Id fold preflop, QJo tends to do poorly from the SB vs UTG+1 3x
Action is confusing postflop, you check-raise flop and then go into check/call mode ? QJo is probably a hand id keep in my check/call range and check/raise slightly stronger hands
Am I not very likely to be abused if I fold my trips in this spot post flop? I guess I could find a fold PF here, I was just soso tilted since I got 3 outed 3 hands before for 200BB
Yes with trips and blocking the straight you call it down. He could easily have worse hands here on 10NL. They are not always careful on paired board. Sometimes you just gotta pay them off. On a paired board with possible straight, I think just calling not raising is fine
But QJo is a bit weak to play OOP vs UTG+1 unless he's very loose. Only way to win big pot is two pair or straight(or paired scary board). IF you win only small pot rake eat you up. I think fold>raise>call
Uhm yes most often not looking to fold trips good kicker is a sollid strategy. It's just preflop where I'd fold and flop I'd mostly check/call this one to have some strong hands in my check/call range
I agree with fold pre-flop.
I like the flop raise, this flop hits his range nicely and you'll get a lot calls here from worse, but if the board gets more co-ordinated on the turn i'd be more cautious going forward
Turn as played, I'm done - if someone bets into me after I x/r them on a card that improves their range, without any further info, I'm putting them on a strong hands AQ or KJ here.
I think it might be slightly too good of odds to check fold turn with full house outs and straight outs. I'm also not sure if villain may bet KQ,AK,AA some of the time
