I really didn't know how to play this hand at the turn but I am thinking shoving can't be loosing money here so I ship it and manage to be against a straight and loose both runouts. Was there a better line here?

Always try to think of what the line is that makes you the most money rather than just going with an option that doesn't lose you money. You could just open jam AA preflop for 100bb and make money but you'd never do that right?
I would just call the turn raise. I think that you have a hand that is both an ok made hand in this spot and a weak flush draw. One of the two of them basically has to be live but neither are all that exciting in this spot.
I think that villain is probably under bluffing this spot so you're likely up against a straight or other better made hand on the turn. Given that, I'd like to try and keep as many of his bluffs in his range as possible.
Ofc I also want to use the line that is highest +ev I really was confused cause as you said I get called mostly by JQ, a better flush or a sstraight but thought shoving was the safer option. Will check call turn from now on and study a bit on that flop. Nevertheless do you think that shove was probably -/+ev? just curious
It's a weird spot, almost like a PLO hand because you have a weak made and and a weakish draw and are facing a raise from what's likely a strong range on the turn. I'd run it through CREV or another similar program and tinker with the assumptions and see how villain having more or less draws and you having fold equity affects the profitability of your jam.
I check this flop, you just have third pair, and your hand will not make great turn or river barrels that often. Villain hits this board with middle pair and top pair very often.I dont think denying equity from his weakest range overweights the times you get called or check/raised. At these stakes players underbluff this spot, its so hard for them to raise on a board that a straight is possible. So i would not be that happy to get it in now.I would just call the turn and wait to get it in on the river vs his straight with a Flush or a Full House.Realizing my implied odds cause i dont think no matter what the river is a 2nl player can fold the straight.Even for the times your flush is dominated you can win in the river, vs AT diamonds giving up for example.Or you can outdraw his 55 QJ with a flush and get it in good. So call turn and fold any not improving river would be a good play imo. I dont think this hand was what we call a setup btw,but even if it was try do not think about Poker like this.Setups will happen like it or not all we can control is our decisions focus your energy on that!!
