Since learning about the 1-alpha strat and all the many spots it applies to, I have found that playing an expoitable style will generally be more profitable. This is obviously is more true at small and mid stakes tables compared to high stakes. So for small and mid stakes players it seems being able to recognize when someone is playing GTO against you is a good tool to have in your arsenal though the majority of players we will encounter will be playing exploitable. That said, being a regular on bovada which is an anonymous site my biggest difficulty is early on in matches where I am playing readless for the most part. Making plays based on stats obtained in the first 20-30 hands might do more harm than good. So I was curious if implementing 1-alpha would be optimal until we have reads and can exploit them accordingly. It seems that the toughest decisioins for me occur during the first 100 hands while stats were being obtained and I get in spots where I am readless would this be good spot to apply GTO?? Forgive me if this is a dumb question.
