UTG vs. MP as PFR SRP, how to play 822r board (ZOOM 50NL)
So I got in the spot where I hold AdKc on 8d2s2h board.
I am up against a caller form MP, a 24/19/5.5, 3,0 AF, 51 WWSF, with a 10% cold calling range. Bet in position when PFR didn't CB is 47%. FCB 53% IP
So in this spot I have a feeling when I check, I will be facing a betting range over multiple streets of pairs that beat me and non showdown hands that I beat, that I can't call down against.
I feel that if I start betting AK here, I will have to barrel because his range is pp + overcard heavy, I do have the leverage of being UTG so I can rep the stronger range on this board, but people either think they can't fold because of their range being capped or they think I am so strong that they have to fold, it is hard to decide which one he is, he does fold 67% to 3barrels so he might be the last one.
Anyways I ended up betting this time, got called and the turn was the 2d, I basically shutdown and xF'd but have a really hard time to really setting up my range properly and how to defaultly play this board texture with my range, and where AK fits in. Against a lot of people AK will be strong enough to try to get to showdown, but against an aggressive regular at NL50 ZOOM, I think I turn my hand to face up and end up folding the best hand a lot on turns or rivers.
