UTG vs CO 4bet AKo - flop strategy?
SB: $15.04
BB: $16.77
UTG: $27.13 (Hero)
MP: $19.55
CO: $14.97
Rake is $0.33
Villain: unknown
Preflop we can either call or 4bet, I tend to 4bet more OOP as it mitigates our positional disadvantage and makes hand easier to play postflop with lower SPR.
My 4bet range gonna be: QQ+,AKs,A5s-A2s,AKo and I expect villain to defend smth like this: JdJh, JdJs, JhJs, AQs+, AdJd, AhJh, AsJs, AKo...I think majority of players don't flat 4bet with QQ+, Not sure if he 3bet/calls JJ or flats UTG open with them, same with AQs and AJs.
Given the villain range this flop is better for his range and he has more JX hands...He's 56% favorite with his range vs mine
I would cbet QQ+ here and AX of clubs for 2/3, shoving most turns. I know I also have to defend my checking range so I would X/C KK and AA with club but it still is not enough, we have to defend roughly 60% of times vs villains bet and If I X/C with KK and AA with club and AcKx I will only defend like 30%...WIll be better if I decide to X/C with A2-A5 of clubs but still only 35%, even if I X/C AxKc it's not enough...
What strategy would you choose on flop like this with my range ? It seems like I can only defend enough when I X my range on the flop :D Coould it even be problem that my preflop 4 bet range is not good?
Thanks
