Turning low pair into a bluff in 3 bet pot

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (6 Players) SB: $12.93
BB: $10.00
UTG: $14.08
MP: $8.28
CO: $10.10 (Hero)
BN: $10.96
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is CO with 4 4
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.23, BN folds, SB raises to $0.95, BB folds, Hero calls $0.72
Pre flop normally i fold this hand in this position but villain were 3 betting a lot ( even suited gappers) so i thought this hand playing well vs wide range in position. Prob fold is better vs this sizing.
Flop ($2.00) K T T
SB checks, Hero checks
On the flop viallains connect this board quite well so not much reason to betting, maybe small like 1/3 to fold any missed hand and not giving free equity but check seems reasonable as well.
Turn ($2.00) K T T Q
SB checks, Hero bets $0.97, SB calls $0.97
When villain checking this turn he's most of the time capped to weak one pair hand where i can have most of boats like QQ( if not 4 bet pre) not sure if checking weak Tx like QT or trapping TT,KT but can have straight as well. Wanted to bet turn and polorarize on the river, overbetting. But wasn't sure if isn't better to start polorazing from turn betting bigger or even giving up? But when he checking hes capped most of the time
River ($3.94) K T T Q K
SB checks, Hero
He should't have much Kx but can check call turn with AK,KJ. I have only 4 high but got confussed on the river, prob should bet but what size? Will he call with Qx? Betting small or overbetting saying i have K or nothing?

Bet turn slighty bigger imo. Also think we can fire river aswell. We checkback otf most of ours Kx so we have all Kx here.

When we didnt bet flop i think we must bet turn and bet river. If you bet flop here you can bet turn check river. As you played you must bet river IMO.

Hey,

Preflop looks good, you can just call the 44 vs. most players. We do end up folding and being denied our equity on a bunch of boards but it's very easy to make up for that when we hit a set vs a range that is going to be putting a lot of money in postflop. Flop looks pretty close, we do have plenty of v.good bluffs here and it's certainly not a board we can just bet super aggressively vs the sb 3bet, but these low pairs do greatly benefit from folding out stuff like 9876 as well as A9s-A2s type hands. Turn looks fine, we can probably size up a little bit, but I think our AQ can bet for this sizing so I don't think it's a large mistake. Definitely not checking this river, we are very much short on bluffs here when the spades complete and we have very few diamond or random Ahigh combos that get here this way. As for sizing, I think our flushes and AJ will want to bet smaller, and our Kx region will bet something like 80%-pot or small overbet, we can put the 44 into either one of those ranges.

Cheers.
