wondering if anyone thinks raising the turn is better here?
I know calling this river is burning money but the way it played felt strange so I made a curiosity call at a good price. I usually fold here, but this Villain had done some weird things in session so far.

What’s your gameplan on most boards? I feel like you’re going to have to give up a lot when called, or be put in a tough spot in general when both villains call
I think raising on the turn would be a good decision. There is a potential straight draw on the turn given if your opponent is holding either a Q or J or has an 8, or since another club landed on the turn, your opponent could've been holding 2 clubs as well giving him a flush draw possibly holding Kx of clubs. Overall, in a situation like this it's better to raise to protect your set in case of a player catching something better. Loose type of play tends to occur at the microstakes and if the villain had been playing strangely throughout the session, it's better to protect your set when it comes.
I think its a bit close OTT.
If he would hold like 20c of str8s in this spot, this doesnt seem like a good raise. Altho, i expect CO to cbet some QJ/J8s OTF, so he should have at least some of these combos reduced. I dont expect BTN to just cold call str8s OTT, so we should have better hand than him really super often.
I would still lean towards call.
Thanks everyone. Some good thoughts. I guess calling is probably slightly better against 2 opponents, if I raise and get called or shoved on I hate my life and have to check fold river anyways. As played I guess I got to showdown for roughly the same price, but my relative hand strength is pretty bad by this point. Gotta find that fold button once in a while even with a set
