TT calling squeeze flop decision
UTG: $429.75
CO: $2103.25
BN: $437.60
SB: $1210.50
Idk why it messes up when I copy it from HM2, but the right bet sizes are as follows. Hero raises to $30, SB calls $25, Hero raises to $120, CO folds, SB raises to $380. Hero calls. SB jams $830.50 into $880 on the flop. This hand was playing on Ignition poker.
Okay, so this hand really confuses me. SB is a 21/17/7.8 over 134 hands. He seems like a standard reg, so he shouldn't have hands he's 3betting here. I would think his flatting range is mostly hands like 99-77, maybe AQ, and hands like JTs/T9s/QJs/QTs/KQs, ect...
So when he squeezes, I would think he might be squeezing a few AQ combos and 99-77. My initial assumptions are villain can't really show up with AA-JJ, but its one of those spots where I can't put him on a clear value hand, but its hard to believe he would be 4betting 99-77, AQ or some medium suited connectors.
Pretty confused. What do you guys think?

Quite odd line by him.. I mean if we expect him to be a decent Reg.. I would like to get a feeling of the game flow! If you have been very active, 3b/squueze alot, then id just rip it in, expecting him to be a bit wider.. Maybe 77+ AQ+..
Im not really sure anyway :(
reg malfunction....
Hey Chris
Looks like a set mine preflop because all the dead money, unfortunate the pot gets so bloated....
Why do you think he would be making plays like this with these type of hands?
Do you see hands show up like that allot?
Have you tried to isolate this line in HEM?
Myself would just fold and I would be happy I had the implied's for my Txx flops, that might be nitty. How happy are we when we have overpair OTF? I myself am not thrilled but allot better than getting over carded.
I think,
this is a spot that wont happen that much, so I wouldent put to much effort into it; especially trying to model it.
My opinion tho :D
In the lower stakes environments I see strong hands in these back raise spots and button clicks. I dont think much of the population is balancing here, but could be a hand like AQ that didnt think it was strong enough to call so was taking it to the streets.
Is a confusing spot
Seems like your almost leveling yourself now :)
I'm surprised people are thinking he's nutted here. I just find it incredibly hard to imagine he flats QQ,KK,AA in the SB vs CO open, unless as someone mentioned you had been completely out of line with your 3bets/squeezes. I would stick the money in here and make him show me a better hand. I suppose JJ would be my biggest fear, but even JJ I feel is quite unlikely. This spot almost never comes up, I would chalk it up to a reg spazzing out or head exploding when it does.
I think is range pre is so hard capped, that I shove this one pre, expecting to almost never run into a higher pair.
Its really important that you write your own stats for the sesson. If you are a 10+% squeeser he can flat AA-QQ to trap u.
If you dont have a high squeesstats I quees he plays AK like that sometimes.
I dont see people do that with 99-77 and AQ-AJ. I quess he has AK if you are tight squeeser in bb and he has AA-QQ if you are a loosersqueeser.
Call if you think he has AK and fold preflopp if you think he trapped you.
I agree with zydes. There is so little information about the history you have. It depends on the player and the history. Against the average 21/17 player I fold. I dont know what the 7.8 means. I assume it's 3B range PF. I'm new here :D
I bet he had AK
Thought so too, but aren't we too likely to hold AQ here?
interesting probably uncapped from a creative player but I don't see why villain would flat raise instead of flat flat QQ if you are aggro? I kind of discount AK when he shoves the flop
