Triple barrel bluffing when the river pairs top pair.
Hi,
lets think about a common situtation. We raise pre get one call from the button and see a king high flop heads up, we c-bet our flopped flushdraw, double barrel a blank turn, pretty standard so far. Now the river pairs the king leaving me guessing if we should ever bluff here or give it up.
Reasons against bluffing is that most of his calling range consists of top pair hands and they should not fold when they improve. Additionally our value combos are now reduced (bottom two doesnt bet, and set of kings is now only 1 combo instead of 3).
But on the other hand, villain must think that this is a bad river to bluff and therefore should give us more credit for a big hand while his kx combos are also reduced.
Any thoughts?
