Villain is not auto reloading + he limp calls being oop? Pretty pretty certain that he is a fun player.

Should be quite standard, rather on the thiner site but yeah.

So I'm blocking some backdoors peels by him which obviously should help to generate folds. We don't really have to bet a lot here imo - I think a 30% sizing will work well enough to A) deny his equity B) fold out some better hands C) realize our own equity - Imo it's really hard to visualize a limp calling range since there is no basic line here people limp call all kinds of hands, but we should block some of his 9X range (even though we have off suited blockers).

I'm not sure if I have to bet this big here, but I wanted to maximize my fold equity here against a weaker player.

So I really wasen't sure wether I should stack off here or not. He def. could still have a hand like 77 66 maybe TT maybe some 8X - and perhaps maybe some stubborn Ace highs. I kinda think there are not that many 9X combinations in his limp calling range + the river even further reduces his slow played nut combinations. Plus I thought if he happens to have a 9X type of hand, he would raise somewhere before e.g. vs my 30% bet otf. Our bluff needs to work about 56% of time just by the way.
Final Pot
Baboscrubx
lost and shows two pair, Nines and Threes.
lordua89 wins and shows a full house, Nines full of Threes.

Which combinations of 9X do you give him in a limp calling range on average? And yeah my line looks pretty bluffy thats true, but it shouldnt really matter that much since even a fish will fold the things im targeting otr. Since I already overbet the turn he might not have as many combinations of 88 and stuff as I initially thought, so yeah the river shove might be spewy (though I would still like the turn bet even for overpot).
Fish can virtually have anything
Triple barrel bluffing fish is usually going to be spewy
hm as a default I don't like to bet turns with a wide range because there is a lot of fish on Pokerstars who just fit or fold. And only some that peel light.
Like if I knew he would peel this flop with Q high K high A high and maybe some lowcardcombo with backdoorstraight backdoorflush I hella would bet any turn because his range is so weak.
But in this case we must assume he has some A high with backdoor maybe, maybe A high without backdoor and a bunch of pairs and 9x and against that range you aren't getting the folds that you want on the turn because the 8 doesn't change much. Even fish sometimes know what a scary card is and what isn't.
yeah I feel you - I def. think he will overfloat the flop since I only bet 30% - but yeah the turn bet should be enough no need to shove the river afterwards since his shit tier hands should already fold ott.
I don't like this. PF/F are fine, but I don't see what you're trying to accomplish by ovb T/R. He's gonna have plenty of 9x, A-hi folds to a smaller bet size, I'm not sure whether PP folds vs ovb or not, but I would defenitely try to find out with a value hand first.
So, yeah, spew for me.
so would you overbet AA in that spot just to find out or when would you actually overbet a valuebet... me personally I don't ovebet turns :) @tazz
Nope, because I don't see the point in overbetting this turn either - if he has 9x, he's gonna raise F/T anyway + we don't want to scare off PP.
But if I were to construct an overbetting range, I'd probably pick some stronger 9x or better here. :)
the overbet was to secure fold vs small pocket pairs - since I kinda doubt they would fold for e.g. 60% of pot
What are you trying to rep a 2/3 2/3 2/3 looks lot more valueish and you wouldnt wanna over QQ hre on paired board probably but only trips +-
