TPTK vs c/d/d line on flushy Turn

Hey everyone,
During the HH review, I am not sure whether I made the right play or not, and tbh I am bit confused, because I have no clue how to approach it.
Really only factor which makes him fishy is his VPIP- 55. Cant remember single showdown with him, but I guess its because I havent played much with him at that table.. soo probably we should assign him a general fishy profile (rather passive than aggressive, calling too much..).
FLOP: Based on the statement above, I should have cbet larger OTF in order to build up bigger pot (he is never folding a TP).
TURN: I made a call because, I thought he might be betting worse Kx for protection sometimes or AdXx as a bluff.. Not sure how to approach donks from fishes when the flush comes in (OTT). Anyway folding at this point seems a little bit assumptive to me.
RIVER: The river card is pretty good for us.. it reduces his twopair combos/sets and imo it doesnt make much sense to lead the turn with 8x, soo I was about to call probably up to 1/2 (because then I possibly may dominate some part of his value betting range and also odds are better obviously) but vs the potsize bet.. it seems pretty strong to me and unless I have a read on this guy (that he is spewy/aggro) I think I might just let this go.. I am not dominating any part of his value betting range (most likely) and I doubt that avg fish is gonna be overbluffing in this line.. even 9dXd is a better call if my assumption regarding domination is true - but given the pot sizing I am pretty sure it is
