Only one critical pot between us so I don't know him too well, I was thinking if he has a set then 3betting on flop is bad and this is an action flop for that range and if he was semi bluffing/bluffing then going passive seems fine with one eye on the board texture without removing sets from his range. As played on river, I went for check/call anything but no CRAI in plan.

I play tighter than him though my preflop 3bet/squeeze/4bet image is wild.
