TPTK on the flop. BEST PLAY FOR LATER STREETS? .5NL zoom
UTG +2($8.11))
HERO($15.07) in CO
BU($13.02)
UTG+2: raises to .17
HERO has AdQh, raises to .51
BU: calls .51
UTG+2: calls .51
(pot 1.28)
FLOP: 9h 7s Qc
UTG+2: bets .80
HERO: calls .80
BU: folds
(pot 2.88)
I think raising here multiway facing donk bet from UTG+2 is prob best for my hand as we can use the protection and run risk of BU flatting behind us when we just call. We are realistically losing to 77/99/Q9 suited for most part and idk if he leads w any of those hands as he might be c/r those hands. We have tptk so most likely good here most of the time. Any thoughts? I still lean towards raising when donked into but am not positive.
TURN: Jss
UTG+2: bets 1.60
HERO: calls 1.60
(pot 6.08)
I think when we flat flop we have to flat turn as well when the Js comes in. If he did have draws on flop (KT, 8T) they got there as well as QJ now having 2 pair. Raising here might still have some merit but overall i think calling when we just call on flop is better.
RIVER: 8hh
UTG+2: bets 5.20 and is all inn
HERO: folds
I think folding the river is okay given how we played the hand up until this point. Our hand is basically a bluff catcher on river as all of his value hands that hes shoving are ahead of us. I dont think he plays any of his one pair hands this way and most of the bluffs he had on flop would theoretically get there on this runout. I think turn and river is mostly standard given how we played the flop. Im not positive tho so any constructive criticism or advice for any street during the hand is more than welcomed. Cheers
