New to rush, havent played many hands so not much info on villain, although have him marked a reg. Obv otf out hand is really nice, with Ac blocker i feel like calling down > raising getting it in. However on this riv i was leaning towards a hero fold? What would you think about his sizing on the riv? Seemed in game like QQ or KK goin for thin value, thoughts on best play here otr, thanks

Well you called a 3bt with AJ and you flopped a J.... raise to get it in is very bad unless he's a spaz.
Call twice is good and river is a call is actually dependent on preflop. If he's a super nit then its a fold but you shoulda folded preflop vs a nits 3bt range; but if you called preflop cause this guy is that loose/wide then go ahead can call though its a bit dirty....
Preflop is good.
Postflop raising or calling has merits depending on how you construct your ranges and villain's tendencies.
How does the villain play SB vs BTN? Does he have a linear 3bet strategy here? Does he flat at all?
You can create a dynamic with villain that raising gin on this board is absolutely fine. He will be value betting worse and you can be raising him off AK/AQ bluffs with semi-bluffs of your own and of course AJ
On the river we would want to know river bet tendencies. I'm trying to think of the best hand you can have here Ac5c 5c4c As5s other A5s? then sets JJ/44/22 does 33 peel the flop? Then all AJ
I think the hand is played well. It's a good board texture for your hand. Sizing is small. Our opponent's 3-bet range should be at its widest.
In a vacuum I'd play it the same. I'm just asking myself if we shouldn't make a small flop raise with what is basically one of the strongest hands we could have here, and stackoff if we also want to have a bluffraising range on that board (i.e. T9ss or 65s if we defended that pre)
