TP2k oop 3bp v trpl brl

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (6 Players) BN: $110.03
SB: $16.06
BB: $23.80
UTG: $26.84
MP: $32.30 (Hero)
CO: $24.65
Villain is 17/13 but has 12% 3b, and seems to be active defending the btn
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is MP with A Q
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, CO folds, BN raises to $2.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.75
Flop ($5.35) 4 Q 7
Hero checks, BN bets $3.00, Hero calls $3.00
Turn ($11.35) 4 Q 7 3
Hero checks, BN bets $6.50, Hero calls $6.50
River ($24.35) 4 Q 7 3 9
Hero checks, BN bets $13.00, Hero folds
Final Pot BN wins $23.25
Rake is $1.10

Obviously folding felt gross, but by the time villain triple's @ this size I just feel like he has AA/KK.
What's the merit of a flop raise?

Also how does villian percieved Pf range effect our postflop line here?
