Tough spot with Queens
Hero: $27
Villain: $30
I was playing 10/25c ring game. I was big blind with average stack of $27. It was folded around to the button($30), who raised to 75c. SB folded and I 3 bet to $2.50. The button re-raised to $5.20. I only just joined the table a few hands before and had no reads or experiences with the other player. I flat called.
The flop: 7x 2x 3x Rainbow.
I check to the button and he goes all in putting me at risk. After taking my time to think about it, I fold.
Any thoughts?

As played snapcall.
That's a pretty bad play by him in position on a dry board like that. Four options.
1) He's protecting overpairs (88-JJ) by shoving.
2) He has AK and desperately wants you to fold.
3) He doesn't know want to do with his random 4b bluff flopping a pair/gutshot (or not) often w/ ace so he jams hoping you to chicken out and fold whatever you have.
4) He's an idiot. Shoves AA/KK/sets because that's what he does.
My point is on a dry board like that seeing AA, KK jam the flop is not likely to say the least therefore bold word.
Thanks. It was a weird spot but I thought 4 betting with ace king would have been a poor play by him if thats what he had so i narrowed it down to pockets based on that. I also can't understand making the all in moves and 4 betting with anything less than queens. It was his all in that put me off. I can only assume he put me on what i had and thought I wouldnt be able to get away from it. Unfortunately I lost 3 times that session with queens to over pairs so that also made me think that im just running bad
That doesn't make sense. Why would he jam and help you to fold TT-QQ? He should not be afraid of any cards that would stop you from stacking off considering the board (dry) and the fact that he blocks A or K.
Im happily getting Queens in PF, and im never folding that flop as played.
As the other have said getting QQ in preflop here is standard. If you chose to call pre, it is to fold only ace and king high boards.
