Tough spot with QQ 10NL zoom 6max
hey guys, played this hand yesterday on PS, and after reviewing it I think I played it fine, but would like to hear your thoughts.
I raise to $0.27 from MP with QdQc and CO raise to $0,60 ($12,70 stack) and SB ($7,34 stack) calls behind. Don´t have any stats or reads on neither of them, but I find they are both likely to be weaker players because of the very small 3b sizing and the shortstack. Action is now on me, and I 4bet to $2 (think 4bet is superior than calling, specially with the short stacker in the pot) and both of them call. Three way action to the flop 8dJsTc and a pot of $6,10, SB check and I bet $2,10 for value and protection (only losing to JJ and TT realisticaly, maybe 88 from the SB or JTs once in a blue moon), targeting KJs, AJs, AQ and AK might float IP (would have folded to a raise OTF). CO calls and SB folds. turn is 2d, I check and CO goes all in ($6,35 into $10,30). At this point I though "sh*t, he is got JJ", but considering his range, the only hands that beat me are TT and JJ (3 combos each) that didn´t decide to raise flop and he could be shoving something llke AQ, AKdd, KQs, maybe even something like KJdd or going crazy with QJs (i know we have blockers). Besides, looking into my range, I figure I was pretty much at the top of it. We def have KK and AA, but the value of these overpairs in this spot is very much the same, except that with QQ we have gutshot as well, giving us some extra outs. Given this considerations I decided to call, needing something like 28% equity to break even. What are your thoughts on the hand? What would you do diferently?
