Villian is 23/21 over 107 hands. Raise first from cutoff is 25 %. Has a 100 % cbet on flop (of 4) and 67 % turn (of 3) so far.

What should be our play here?

I d 3 bet or fold preflop. This villain does open wide enough from the CO that KJo makes a nice 3 bet but he s tough enough that KJo is unlikely to show a profit by calling.

Postflop the streets I would consider raising are the flop or the river. Not the turn. OTF you can have a decent amount of gutters and whatnot and your value hands are limited so theres certainly reason for villain to not believe you and make a lite call down. On blank rivers you can also either turn hands into a bluff shove idk QTs vs a 3 barrel and AKo will be in a tough spot if you raise this and manage your frequencies properly.

The problem for raising the turn is that it sucks for semi bluffing. You don t leverage 3/4+ pot bet OTR and the spr is good for villain to shove on you as a rebluff if you get even slightly out of line. Ya that might be awesome for KJ but the problem is that your unlikely to get action as its too strong. Baluga theroem 101 imo.

Ya I m torn about raising the flop. Probably some sort of mixed strat with this hand is best although I personally only show up with 2 combos of KJ and 3 combos of 44 for nut hands. If KJo is in your range you can probably raise some OTF and slowplay some for range protection so villain can t just unload fearing no nut hands OTR when it bricks off. Perhaps I fear that situation too much however and we can raise KJ and still have enough hands to call down alright on bricks.

Im fine with raising either turn or river if we get a good card. The more often someone barrels the more I like just calling turn and the more they go to showdown the more I'd like a turn raise. If you're not sure about this specific villain then I'd assume that he possesses the tendencies of the average regular at these stakes and adjust accordingly.
