What do you gus think here about checking top set?
Most often we will only get one more bet from a 4x pr 7x Hand an he might catch a 2nd best hand.WIth this kombo I also block a few of his FDs so maybe I should only be cheking KK with a :c
As played, how would you proceed on the turn after a 2/3 Pot bet or sth. like this?
Is a x/r better than x/c x/r because we could also semibluff with a FD?

yep good to check top set for balance and cause you block his continuing range.Shouldnt be checkraising turn cause he isnt calling when we block kx.could opt for a half-3/4 pot and hope his pocket pairs float once more, but i'd check cause his range is too weak, should just let him spazz out with some of his floats
I think it makes the most sense to play a xc xc xs line here. We let him bluff since we block his continuing range and we still get stacks in vs the top of his range. You can start betting if he checks behind the flop
Probably best to bet entire range OTF.
I would agree with you 2 weeks ago but I checked by DB recently and I'm losing money with the air combos when I c-bet whole range in 3BP, so I stopped doing it. Might be something I'm doing wrong on turns and rivers since I'm getting the exact amount of folds for the c-bets to breakeven but for now I'm back with the usual strategy of building bet and check ranges
Can't check your DB for K74r HU when you play 6max. 10x better and more experienced HU players also disagree.
I have very good results with that strategy over 120k hands of HU, so good that I have positive WR from BB.
@Kalupso it is a 25NL HU match, I would just check top set here, where people is overfolding. Just do what it's best for your hand, no need to balance, the other player is not aware of that. I'm not sure if we can cbet 100% with that size, probably you are using another one.
i agree could go 33%-40% something allong those line.
Thanks guys. I agree that x/c T and x/r shove River is best.
I didn't consider checking the flop, But yeah I also like this idea. Would you check all combos of KK but bet the 77 and 44? OR do you only check a few of the KK comboc otf?
Probably best to bet entire range OTF.
you could check your 1010+ and bet 77 and 44 cause you dont block kx,Although yeah betting entire range is more conveniant. Though he probably isnt calling very much
There are 1000's of strategies you can play here. Always cbet works fine and is close to optimal.
KK blocks the hands that he likely calls down wit 2 or 3 streets. So cbetting sets and AA makes slightly more sense due to anti blockers.
Thanks for all the input!
Just standard bet. He expects you to c-bet all air on this board. Depending on how passive he is, just barrel and hope he bluff catches. If he is floaty, makes weird v-bets/ bluffs/ merge bets when you check, go for a check/call and hope to be able to x/raise river.
Hey, good hand, always so tricky to get value out of this hands.
I would start by checking the flop to start, the board is pretty dry, I don't believe we are getting call so often here since we block a K.
On the turn as played, both lines are ok, it's pretty hard to missplay this hand, so I would let him bluff, I would x/c, x/r the river.
If you play a lot with this guy, you can adjust trying to aim for his leaks.
