Call turn - You hold blockers to his sets. He may even 3bet TT and KK pre so that just leaves 88. Players also tend to 3bet Axs a lot in these positions too. So his value range is already very small. I think he could easily play AcJ , AcQ and QJs like this and will often barrel blank turns. He might even have hands like KQ , KJ w/no club in his range.

If we think about our flop calling range , we are near the top , sets we prob 3bet the flop most of the time so besides made flush this is the top of our range. If we are behind we are also not drawing dead so we have some equity. 

Thanks yeah felt kinda gross calling turn to fold brick rivs esp since he insta barrelled turn. Sometimes i feel like when someone bets so quick they can only have value in their range, ofc some good players now do this as a disguise with bluffs also. Anyway what your plan OTR if it bricks and he bets the following sizings ??

1) tiny

2) halfpot

3) three quarters pot

4) shuvs

Its going to be a tough spot on the river no douth. However consider that there will be times we improve and there will be times he checks the river. Plus on any club i think we have easy decision. 

If he bets its very player specific. I would go to my stats and notes to make a decision. Hes unknown to you here so given that we are near the top of our range a call wouldnt be a terrible play. Whether we call or fold we have to be aware that we are against an unknown and all we can do is make a judgement call on what the best play is. Vs a shove id prob fold , the smaller the bet the more likely i guess i am to call , simply because i dont have to good as often.
