Too tight of a fold?

Blinds: $0.01/$0.02 (6 Players) BN: $3.08
SB: $2.99
BB: $2.46
UTG: $2.23
MP: $5.36 (Hero)
CO: $4.55
Preflop ($0.03) Hero is MP with Q Q
UTG raises to $0.08, Hero calls $0.08, CO folds, BN raises to $0.33, 2 folds, UTG raises to $2.23 and is all in, Hero folds, BN calls $1.90
Both are unknown, the call is debatable but I don't auto3bet QQ in MP v UTG. (I will usually if there are weaker players behind me or in the blinds, which was not the case.)
UTG instashoves.
Flop ($4.57) 4 7 J
Turn ($4.57) 4 7 J 6
River ($4.57) 4 7 J 6 K

During play I thought that this might be a good spot to fold, especially given that UTG didn't give it too much thought. I marked the hand though, as I wasn't too sure about it. I probably wouldn't even have bothered if my hand was JJ.

Given that I don't have information I thought that the squeezer might have something like JJ+,AKs,KQs,QJs,JTs,T9s,AKo and will be calling JJ+,AKs,KQs,AKo (with the KQs accounting for random calls) and UTG having JJ+,AQs+,A2s,AKo after shoving with a couple combos of AXs to account for him shoving light with a blocker. With these ranges equilab proves that this is a clear call in both cases of one or both calling, even if their ranges reduce to JJ+,AKs,AKo.

Is this a bad fold/clear call? I guess AK is similarly a call as I block a good portion of hands that dominate me?

firstly dont show results will help with your feedback

2nd at 2nl players are generally gonna make a lot of mistakes, i would just 3B pre and try to get it in pre

you will find players gii with Ax small pairs and even worse hands so be happy to get QQ in here

Keep your game simple, imo. You are not playing against Tom Dwan. 3bet your QQ , clear the field try to go heads ups etc etc. You do not want any "fish or weak payers" when you are MP. Keep it simple !!

Sorry for posting the results.
I am solely interested in the decision after having called, i.e. as played.

As others have said, 3 bet preflop.

As played, it's a tough spot and honestly you're going to have a better idea of what kinds of hands you see in this situation in your games. If you regularly see people getting it in with hands like 1010/AQ or just spewing with Axs and small pairs then going with your hand becomes a lot more comfortable.

I almost never see people showing TT or AQ with this kind of action. From time to time, someone will show up with 53s or just random garbage, but this is very rare (def < 5% of these spots) and i have never seen 2+ people getting it in with the better one having worse than JJ+, AK. Given this information about the pool tendency, this is a close call?

If people are generally getting it in with a tight range here then the fold looks fine. I'd be surprised to even see JJ here in most games.

As said I would 3bet preflop. You get way more information this way. Lets say you 3 bet the BN 4 bets and UTG shoves then you can fold your QQ I guess.
As played the BN could just squeeze with a range of: TT+,AQs+,A5s-A3s,KQs,87s,AKo
