I dont think that our hand is strong enough to xC the flop. I think that even AK with bdfd wouldnt be strong enough, with zero backdoors and our outs being dirty, we def. cant xC imo.
Cbet would be better. As played, turn is def either a fold or xR.
Yes, x/calling with ace high is troublesome, given that even villains total bluffs will have 3-6 outs which they will get to showdown and win IP. Better bet flop as semibluff, doesnt matter if we have the best hand or not, or x/fold which will be easily exploited.
Youi can also try x/raising the flop if villain auto bets here but folds very often. This way you even collect some more bb with his bet.

but why C/R turn vs villain's 2 barrel range when our hand goes down in strength and villain is more committed and probably has a stronger ranger?
maybe a C/R on the flop will get some credit from some players though not all since a cbet looks like a close to 100% mostly bluff range in villain's eyes
