Timing Tells
What are some standard things to read into different timing tells at 6-max games? I understand that sometimes the person is just on too many tables or is just distracted, but does that make timing tells useless? Do they mean different things on different streets?

The only timing tell a take into consideration is the snap call. It's almost always a draw/medium hand. But it's the obvious one so you probably know it already.
Yeah not much specially at lower limits could be multi tabling or TV on or anything so don't worry about it too much. Obviously if you do spot something then make a note but there's no real catch all for most players.
My timing tell experiences:
mostly strong:
- 3-4s waiting then bet
- 0-3s waiting then raise
- 6-8s waiting then check
mostly weak-medium:
- preflop quick call
- quick check
- 0-2s waiting then call (postflop)
Those numbers seem reasonable IF Villain is playing one single table, but except for the quick responses you always have to take into account that delays might result from simply multi-tabling.
its good vs fishes
Also to add on what 33beasts says, some players tank raise 6s-7s with the nuts
It's very opponent-specific. A good place to start would be taking notes on hands that get to showdown.
When somebody thinking a lot before 4betting (~5sec). Very often he has a weak hand and just looking in pop-ups to estimate your 3bet & Fold to 4bet stat.
that's a pretty dangerous one to try to 5 bet bluff to exploit...some people will just pretend to think 5 seconds. they might also be looking in pop-ups and decide it's ok to go with a 4 bet with a hand like TT or 99 that might normally be a call for him
Most of the time, when someone bet fast on the river, at least he is a very strong reg, he has value. Mainly because a good reg has more clear into his head what hands are in his river bluff range, and a weak reg need to think about it for a few seconds.
Fish usually snapcall with weak hands.
Aggro regs tend to instantly make a decision when they're strong.
I sometimes give fake timing tells. So for instance if he Villian barrels twice and I call with a mediocre hand and the frontdoor FD hits, I tank-check to make it look like I'm thinking about what to do with my flush.
Same goes for when the middle card pairs etc.
Pretty stupid of me to say this because I know there are a lot of players at 1/2 Zoom who'll read this, but whatever.
