Is it wrong to be super aggressive in these spots? What types of players do you usually c/s turn with. Are you willing to get it in on the flop?
I've noticed I really struggle with correct actions to these and other spots with double/triple draws especially when playing 3b pots OOP.

as a general rule x shove ott doesnt make sense on Axx boards. Our draws are weaker (they dont have overcards) and our valuehands tend to not need that much protection (no fear of overcards)+villain's range doesnt contain strong top pair type of hands and a lot of unknown xb AJ here and in theory we should be aiming to fold out one pair hands.
Floats tend to be stronger too (again, no "one overcard+gs" floats possible).
I'd honestly just barrel off and I dont like the xshove, even though its obv never a huge mistake.
The kitten nailed it here. +1!
I agree with limp, but i'm also fine with how you played it. I think both lines are acceptable, maybe some villian history might dictate which line we prefer? Either way, 3 betting that hand and getting that flop with 100 bb effective stacks....you definitely have no issue getting it in. Now that i think of it more, barreling is for sure most ideal. Villian can XB turn with both his dominated draws, and his pot controlling 1 pair hands...which is not what we want. We want his dead draws paying max value, and his weak one pair hands to call one more time and hopefully fold to our river shove when we brick out, which should be a healthy bet.
Its true that XR OTT doesn't get respected much.
But I like how u played it. I like the bet OTF and raise sizes OTT.
Can see the villain doing same thing with QJ KJ 87s and hearts (Call OTF bet OTT)
Not sure if its optimal play :)
but I like it.
In general, a turn check raise should warrant a ton of respect...especially coming from someone who 3 bet pre and cbet flop. As far as villian betting turn with his draws and one pair hands...these are ideal hands for a check back after such early street aggression from us, especially since a turn XR is a nightmare for him. Further, his weaker straight and flush draws are not something we want to XR out of the hand, but keep in. We get his stack when flush hits, and fold him out on river when straight/flush misses. Barreling is for sure the best line when it comes to this imo. Him checking behind turn when we can charge his draws further, while also building a pot to take down on river shove on his one pair hands, is disastrous. Now, when river bricks out we either weakly check, or make a bet that will surely get called a huge percent of the time.
I do understand we want to keep their weaker straight/flush draws but I can't fully agree on this spot. Just the dynamics of the game recently especially against aggressive players. This is a wet flop; lots of actions to come once called and when u 3b wide and cbet wide on this texture a lot of aggressive ppl fire back w/ draws by raise-all-in OTT which we can't call. To me, hero's line make sense as AK AT and AA/TT-99/(trap) cause I see tons of ppl(espacially aggressive ones) stabbing OTT once checked. and also this maybe a spot to apply Last Bet Theory(the one jams takes the pot). And I do see KhQh an excellent candidate to do so.
I really want to think what others think about this spot. It might be me fastplaying OTT with too many values/bluffs.
