Theory Question: Merits of Raising FD on Paired Flop

Let's say a grinder with a high cbet % opens and I call IP. Flop is paired with a FD such as:

9d9s2d

Grinder cbets. I have two questions.

  1. If we have something like AdQd or AdJd then there's no point in bluffraising because the point of a bluff is to fold out better and we're not folding out better, right?

  2. If we have 7d6d or 8s7s then bluffraising makes more sense because we can fold out his high cards like A thru J highs which are technically better than what we have, right?

P.S. Yes, I know we're not repping anything but that's not the question I'm exploring.
